Prospecting CRM sync that keeps your records clean
A prospecting tool is only as useful as the place its accounts end up. ProspectScouter sends scouted accounts, fit grades, buying signals, verified contacts and openers to your CRM, and alerts your team when a watched account shows a new signal. Every plan exports CSV. Growth adds HubSpot and Pipedrive sync and Slack alerts. Scale adds Salesforce sync and API access. Before any record is written, ProspectScouter checks your CRM for an existing company and contact so the sync updates instead of duplicating.

CSV export on every plan
CSV export works on every plan and is the simplest way to move accounts into any CRM, spreadsheet or sequencing tool. An export can include the account domain and name, fit grade and reasons, each buying signal with its source link, roles to contact, revealed verified contacts with work email and direct line, the suggested angle and both openers. Choose the columns once and save the layout, so every export matches the import template of the tool you use next.
Founders on Starter often export a weekly CSV straight into their email tool. Teams on any plan use CSV for one-off imports into tools without a native sync.

HubSpot, Pipedrive and Salesforce sync
Native sync writes accounts and contacts into your CRM without a spreadsheet in the middle. HubSpot and Pipedrive sync are included on Growth and higher, and Salesforce sync on Scale and higher. Connect the CRM once with an admin account, map the fields and choose whether sync runs when a rep clicks sync or for every account a rep marks as worked.
- Company record gets the fit grade, top reasons, top signal with source link and a link back to the scouting report.
- Contact records get name, title, verified work email and direct line for revealed contacts.
- The opener can be written to a note or activity on the contact, so the rep finds it where they work.
- Field mapping is set once per workspace and can be changed by an admin.
The CRM stays the system of record. ProspectScouter adds research and contacts to it and does not change your pipeline stages, deal amounts or ownership rules. The account scoring page explains the grade fields in more detail.
Duplicates are checked before every sync
Duplicate records are the most common complaint about prospecting tools that write into a CRM. ProspectScouter checks before it writes. For companies, it matches on the website domain. For contacts, it matches on email address. When a match exists, the sync updates the existing record with the new grade, signals and contact details instead of creating a second one, and it never overwrites fields you did not map.
The scouting board also shows when an account already exists in your CRM, so a rep sees that a colleague owns it before doing any research. For RevOps teams, that check is often the reason a prospecting CRM integration gets approved at all.

Email and Slack alerts for watched accounts
Put any account on a watch list and get told when something changes. On Growth and higher, a new buying signal on a watched account triggers an email to the account owner and, if connected, a message in a Slack channel you choose. The alert names the account, the signal, the quoted snippet and the source link, and opens the updated report with a fresh opener built on the new signal.
- Weekly digest by email of new signals across the watch list.
- Slack alerts per channel, for example one channel per territory or per client workspace.
- Alerts follow the account owner, so the right rep sees the signal first.
Our guide to sales trigger events explains how quickly to act on each type of signal.

API access on Scale
Scale and Enterprise include API access for teams that want scouted accounts in their own systems: a data warehouse, an internal dashboard, a routing tool or a custom CRM. The API returns the scouting board, reports, grades, signals with sources and revealed contacts for your workspace, and lets you add accounts to a watch list. Access uses workspace API keys that admins create and revoke. Requests count against the same monthly allowances as the app.
Sequencing and outreach tools
ProspectScouter writes openers but does not send messages. Most teams send from the CRM or a sequencing tool they already use. On Growth and higher, sync contacts and openers into HubSpot or Pipedrive, or into Salesforce on Scale, and enroll them from there. On any plan, export a CSV laid out for your sequencing tool's import. The outreach openers page explains how drafts are structured.
What to check in a prospecting CRM integration
Admin roles on Scale and custom roles on Enterprise decide who may connect a CRM, change mapping or run bulk sync. See security for the full list of access controls, and our data enrichment page for how ProspectScouter fills gaps in records you already have.
- 01 Duplicate handling, with matching on domain and email before any write.
- 02 Field mapping you control, including which fields the tool may never touch.
- 03 Clear ownership rules, so synced records go to the right rep.
- 04 Source links in the record, so anyone in the CRM can check a signal.
- 05 Admin controls over who can connect or disconnect the CRM.
FAQ
Which CRMs does ProspectScouter sync with?
HubSpot and Pipedrive on Growth and higher, and Salesforce on Scale and higher. Every plan, including Starter, exports CSV for any other CRM or tool.
How does ProspectScouter avoid duplicate records?
Before every sync it matches companies by website domain and contacts by email address. When a match exists, it updates the existing record instead of creating a new one, and it never overwrites fields you did not map.
Can I get alerts in Slack?
Yes, on Growth and higher. When a watched account shows a new signal, ProspectScouter posts the account, the signal, the quoted snippet and the source link to the Slack channel you choose, and emails the account owner.
Does Starter include any integrations?
Starter includes CSV export with a saved column layout. Native CRM sync, email and Slack signal alerts start on Growth.
Is there an API?
Yes, on Scale and Enterprise. The API returns boards, reports, grades, signals and revealed contacts for your workspace, using API keys that admins create and revoke.
Will sync change my pipeline or deal data?
No. Sync writes the fields you map on company and contact records and adds notes. It does not change pipeline stages, deal amounts or ownership rules.
